Sunrise

I was getting ready for work yesterday morning and saw this wonderful sunrise. I love to watch the sun coming up over the mountains, it is so beautiful. And all from my back porch!!

Corey's School Play

Corey's 6th grade class performed Shakespeare's "The Tempest" today. Some of the kids had their parts memorized (Corey had them all memorized except for the end) but a lot didn't. They did a great job though. Only 3 days left of school... yea!!
Corey was also the assistant director.

Happy Birthday Erika!!

Friday, June 13... Erika's 8th Birthday! We are not superstitious at our house! 13 is Erika's lucky number. Once again, I worked all day so we had a little party with the Cederholms after I got off work. The kids were having a water balloon fight at 10pm. Judy sent the tiger and Grandma Linda made a denim book bag with a great book inside.

Today Erika had a little party with her friends. They got to soak their feet and they all had pedicures by Corey and Sara. They also made really cute flip flops. They were all princesses. Grandma Diane was here from Saturday to Tuesday so she got to be in on the party. Carl came for one day, he took the girls fishing and they had a wonderful time. Because of the way they do baptisms here, Erika won't be baptized until August 2.

The Wizard of Oz

I've waited a month to post this until I got the photo CD from the Wizard of Oz performance and it was a huge disappointment. Most of the pictures they took were blurry and my kids were only in a few of them anyway. I only took pictures before and after so I don't have any of them during the performance. They had a great time but I must say I am glad they aren't practicing every night anymore.
